Gen C’s spotted in the media

The authors of the blog (and the book) Communities Dominate Brands say the C in Generation C stands for community. Is this true?

We reckon it’s one of a number of possible C’s … but it doesn’t really strike to the heart of C-dom. In his original Idealog article, Jake said he reckoned the driver behind all the other Cs - connection, community, cellphones, creativity, choice - was control.

What do you reckon? Does it even matter? Does a generation need a label? Please share.
